Field Log is the source of truth for observations. Create and edit them here on your iPhone or Mac.

Save observations in Field Log.

On your Mac, open STaRS.

Choose Data → Refresh All.

In STaRS on your Mac, choose Data → Refresh All whenever you want the workbook current.

You will no longer edit Field Log observations inside Excel. That eliminates duplicate records and two-way file shuffling.

Each device needs your private Field Log connection code once. After that, synchronization is automatic.
